The iNEMI Optoelectronics Technology Integration Group (TIG) has scheduled a one-day session to coincide with OFC 2017 - Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition.
The session will feature an update of iNEMI’s Development of Cleanliness Specification for Expanded Beam Connectors Project, Phase 2, by Tatiana Berdinskikh, Celestica, the project chair.
In addition, iNEMI's Bob Pfahl, Principal Investigator of the Integrated Photonics Systems Roadmap (IPSR), will discuss the IPSR roadmap and resulting iNEMI-IPSR project Board-Level Optical Interconnect.
Tom Marrapode, Molex, Chair, Board-Level Optical Interconnect project will present a project status update and chair a project working session.
This project is well aligned with AIM, iNEMI, MIT MicroPhotonics Consortium, and industrial roadmaps. These roadmaps predict that silicon-photonics-based transceiver modules will provide the most cost-effective solutions for on-board interconnections in the future.
To gain access to Room #301A, a complimentary Exhibit Pass Plus badge is required by OFC.
A complimentary Exhibit Pass Plus badge can be picked up at the registration desk inside of Exhibit Hall A by registering at http://www.ofcconference.org/en-us/home/registration/
All meetings are open to anyone interested in attending.
